Treasure hunt scheduled at Media City Center

A VERB treasure hunt for children 9 to 12 begins at noon today at the

Media City Center.

Children should meet at the Macy’s first-floor entrance to be

divided into teams.

Following a pep rally, the treasure hunt will begin. Teams might

be asked to search at a music store to find a CD that uses a

particular verb in its title. A team might also be asked to visit a

sports equipment store where the team will take a photo of a team

member running on a treadmill to show the verbs “run,” “sprint” or

“jog.” The team with the most photos or correct VERB items first,

wins.

The Centers for Disease Control, with the support of radio station

KIIS-FM (102.7), sponsors the event.

The team leaders and their teams represent Boys & Girls Club of

Burbank, Hands for Hope and El Proyecto del Barrio.
