Chamber members recognized

Two Burbank Chamber of Commerce members were recognized for their

contributions in 2002 at its luncheon earlier this month.

Andre B. Murray of the Bern Agency was honored as Volunteer of the

Year, and Michael Williams of Williams Chiropractic was awarded

Member of the Year.

Murray, a first-year member, attended and photographed several

Chamber events, documenting mixers, luncheons and ribbon cuttings

throughout the year. Williams, a member of the Chamber’s Board of

Directors and the chairman of the Business Connection Luncheon

committee, has steadily built the attendance and raised the quality

of the meetings.

Chamber executive director Susan Bowers wrote in the

organization’s newsletter that the volunteers are the strength of the

organization.
