Easter boutique at Animal Shelter

Residents will have a chance this weekend to buy hand-crafted,

Easter-themed merchandise, and help out the Burbank Animal Shelter at

the same time.

The shelter’s volunteers are hosting an Easter boutique at the

shelter, 1150 N. Victory Place, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and

Sunday. A variety of Easter-related gifts, T-shirts and other items

made by shelter volunteers will be for sale in the lobby, officials

said. Proceeds from the sale will be used by the volunteers to fund

various improvements at the shelter.

Volunteers held a Christmas boutique in December, and based on its

success, held a Valentine’s Day boutique, which officials said was

also profitable.
