JOSEPH FELIX COPPO
Joseph Felix Coppo, 93, died April 17, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born Nov. 26, 1909, in Burbank and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Coppo was the owner of Riverside Laundromat and Dry Cleaners
in Toluca Lake for 50 years. He served as the president of the Toluca
Lake Chamber of Commerce, as the honorary mayor of Toluca Lake and
was a member of the Burbank Elks Lodge 1497. He was also a World War
II veteran.
The visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley Funeral
Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. The funeral service is at 11:30 a.m.
Friday at the American Lutheran Church, 755 N. Whitnall Hwy. The
interment follows at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
Mr. Coppo is survived by his wife, Lillian; daughters, Jo Ann
Nelson and Christine Egerer; seven grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grand- children.

FRANK PROVENCIO LUCERO
Frank Provencio Lucero, 77, died April 17, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born May 5, 1925, in El Paso and was a longtime resident of
Burbank.
He worked as a production-cost estimator specialist for Rockwell
International for 35 years. He was also a World War II veteran.
Mr. Lucero is survived by his wife, Sofie; sons, Frank and Edward;
daughters, Paula Lucero and Norma Brolsma; and two grandchildren.
The funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. today at St. Francis Xavier
Catholic Church, 3801 Scott Road. The interment follows at San
Fernando Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills.

GEORGE NIELSON CORDON
George Nielson Cordon, 78, died April 18, 2003.
He was born May 18, 1924, in Burbank and was a longtime resident
of the city.
Mr. Cordon was a graduate of Burbank High School and a World War
II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Cordon is survived by his wife, Ruth.
The funeral service is at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 136 N. Sunset Canyon. Interment follows
at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
