JOSEPH THOMAS LAUERMAN

Joseph Thomas Lauerman, 77, died June 4, 2003.

He was born May 16, 1926, in Morehead, Kan., and was a longtime

Burbank resident.

He worked for Standard Brands Paint Co. in Burbank for 30 years.

Mr. Lauerman is survived by his wife, Margaret; daughter, Diane

Lauerman-Arnold; and two grandchildren

The Mass of Christian burial was Monday at St. Robert Bellarmine

Church. The interment followed at San Fernando Mission Cemetery,

Mission Hills.

Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service was in charge of direction.

ADELE MARIE STYK

Adele Marie Styk, 74, died June 7, 2003, in San Leandro.

She was born Sept. 8, 1928, in Long Beach and lived in Burbank for

56 years.

She worked as a schoolteacher for 22 years. She also owned

Vogel’s Studio of Beauty for 15 years.

She was a member of the Burbank Art Assn., the San Fernando Valley

Art Assn. and St. Finbar Catholic Church.

Mrs. Styk is survived by her daughters, Teresa Scheerer and Rita

Strawn; and six grandchildren.

The visitation is from 4 to 8:30 p.m. and the vigil is at 7 p.m.

Friday at Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. The Mass of

Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Finbar Catholic

Church, 2010 W. Olive Ave. The interment follows at San Fernando

Mission Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave., Mission Hills.

LEONARDO G. ROBERTS

Leonardo G. Roberts, 81, died June 7, 2003, in Burbank.

He was born in Missouri and lived in Burbank for 19 years.

He worked as an automobile salesman for 40 years and was a member

of the Santa Maria Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Michael and

Steven; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Valley Funeral

Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. The funeral service is at 11 a.m. Friday

at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 542 N. Buena Vista St. The

interment follows at Pomona Valley Cemetery, 502 E. Franklin Ave.,

Pomona.
