The following incidents were taken from police reports:

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 3400 block of Scott Road: Police are investigating the discovery

of a dead rat Monday that had been cut open, filled with a fuse and

wiring and taped together. No explosive was found inside the rodent,

but police are investigating the incident as a potential act of

animal cruelty.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 100 block of North First Street: Two Palmdale men and a

Lancaster man were arrested Saturday on suspicion of committing a

robbery. When officers tried to stop the vehicle the men were riding

in, the driver evaded them by traveling down alleys. Inside the car,

police allegedly found a handgun and cash as well as narcotics.

Police are contacting law-enforcement agencies in the area to see if

the men may be responsible for a robbery.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 150 E. Angeleno Ave.: Three 12-year-old Burbank boys reported

Thursday a man exposed himself to them inside Holiday Inn. They told

police they were walking down a hallway when the man exposed himself

and then ran away. Police searched the area but could not locate the

man.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* San Fernando Boulevard and California Street: A 38-year-old

Burbank man reported Thursday two men attacked him with a broken

glass bottle. He told police he was walking when the men approached

and demanded his wallet. When he refused, the men allegedly broke the

bottle and cut his arm before running away.
