Burbank man dies after being shot during argument

A Burbank man was shot and killed this week during an altercation at

auto body shop, police said.

Los Angeles Police officers, responding to a call of shots fired

at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Mariposa Street about 3:30

p.m. Wednesday, found Gor Avetisyan, 23, and an unidentified man on

the ground with gunshot wounds, according to a press release by the

Los Angeles Police Department.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital, where Avetisyan died

from his wounds. The other victim, a 27-year-old man, was in critical

condition late Thursday.

According to the press release, the victims were arguing with an

unidentified suspect or suspects who shot them and then ran away.
