Refurnished library gets ribbon-cutting ceremony
Burbank High School officials will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at
3:30 p.m. Monday to recognize the school’s newly furnished library
and thank the Burbank IKEA store for its sponsorship.
IKEA donated needed furniture, including computer tables, after
the library was remodeled and there was no money left to furnish the
facility’s loft area and reading nooks.
The ceremony will be followed by a tour of the library.
Refreshments will be offered.
The school is at 902 N. 3rd St. The library is on the corner of
3rd Street and Harvard Road. Parking is on Harvard Road, with
overflow parking in the Media City Center Mall.
For more information, call district librarian Paula Paggi at
558-4700, ext. 2940.
