MAGNOLIA PARK
* 1920 Clark St.: A 15-year-old Burbank boy was arrested Monday at
John Burroughs High School on suspicion of possessing marijuana at
school.
* Olive and Verdugo avenues: A 17-year-old Burbank girl was
arrested Sunday on suspicion of assaulting her boyfriend’s
ex-girlfriend. The two girls stopped their vehicles and began arguing
when the suspect punched the victim in the face. The victim, a
19-year-old Burbank woman, suffered a bump on the nose.
* 700 block of North Brighton Street: A 34-year-old San Pedro man
was arrested Saturday on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine
after police stopped the man and learned there was a warrant for his
arrest.
* 400 block of North Sparks Street: A 40-year-old Burbank woman
was arrested Saturday for allegedly pushing her 43-year-old boyfriend
to the ground and kicking him in the head.
HILLSIDE DISTRICT
* 900 N. Glenoaks Blvd.: A 63-year-old Burbank woman was arrested
Sunday after allegedly slapping a 50-year-old Burbank man during an
argument in the parking lot of St. Ephraim Syrian Orthodox Church.
The victim made a citizen’s arrest before police arrived.
* 500 block of East Palm Avenue: A 30-year-old man was arrested
Saturday for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, a 25-year-old
Burbank woman, after he reportedly threw things at her and grabbed
her arm.
MEDIA CITY CENTER
* San Fernando and Magnolia boulevards: An 18-year-old Burbank man
was arrested Saturday during a routine traffic stop on suspicion of
possessing methamphet- amine and a glass pipe.
NORTHWEST DISTRICT
* Buena Vista Street and Burbank Boulevard: A 27-year-old Studio
City woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the
influence.
* Burbank Boulevard and Kenwood Street: An 18-year-old Burbank
woman was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the
influence after she crashed into a utility pole. The pole was knocked
down and the vehicle sustained major front-end damage.
* Buena Vista Street and Burbank Boulevard: A 38-year-old Burbank
man was arrested Saturday on suspicion of possessing drug
paraphernalia after police recovered a glass pipe containing drug
residue in his vehicle.
SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT
* Magnolia Boulevard and Varney Street: Two Northridge men, ages
38 and 40, were arrested Saturday on suspicion of possessing
methamphet- amine and drug paraphernalia.
MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH
* Alameda Avenue and Lamar Street: A 34-year-old Highland Park man
was arrested Saturday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
