Haghighi -- Casey
Leila Haghighi and Brian Casey were married at the Marina del Rey
Marriott. The couple was united in two ceremonies, the first being a
Methodist ceremony performed by the Rev. Larry Stamper and
immediately following a Persian ceremony performed by Mrs. Fakhri
Ebadat.
The maid of honor was Yekta Maleki. The bridesmaids were Mehrzad
Forough, Leila Katouzian and Kendra Londono.
The best man was Sean Casey, the groom’s brother. The groomsmen
were Dan Cotti, Shahram Haghighi, the bride’s brother, and Alex
Petruncola.
A reception followed in the Bay View Room at the Marriott, which
has floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, revealing the beauty of
the marina.
The couple honeymooned on the Hawaiian islands of Kaui and Maui
and are living in Burbank.
The bride is the daughter of Parivash and Saied Haghighi of
Northridge.
She attended Chatsworth High School and received a degree in
sociology from UC Santa Barbara. She is employed by Beazer Homes in
Santa Clarita.
The groom is the son of Jane and Jim Casey of Burbank.
He attended UCLA as an undergraduate and graduated from USC Law
School with a juris doctorate. He is employed at Latham & Watkins LLP
in downtown Los Angeles.
