College faculty gives free dance performance

Four performances are planned for the annual Glendale Com- munity

College Faculty/ Alumni dance production in the auditorium.

Shows are at 8 p.m. Friday, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m.

Sunday. Admission is free. The performance is for age 5 and older.

Dancers in the show are students enrolled in the college dance

program and guest artists. Choreography is by faculty, students,

alumni and guests.

Among the guest artists is Richard Oliver. He was a founding

member of the Gloria Newman Dance Theater, a member of Rachel

Rosenthal’s Instant Theater and founder of the Richard Oliver and

Dance Company. His modern dance choreography has been performed by

the UCLA Opera Company, Lincoln Center, L.A. Civic Light Opera and

many others.
