Lee R. Grippe, 84, died Dec 12, 2003, in Prescott, Ariz.
She was born on July 16, 1919, in Christopher, Ill.
She was a resident of Burbank for 80 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Basso; son, James
Michael Grippe; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at Valley Funeral Home, 2121
W. Burbank Blvd.
Alejo “Al” L. Caloza
Alejo “Al” L. Caloza, 63, died Dec. 11, 2003 in Los Angeles.
He was born on Feb. 17, 1940 in the Philippines.
He was a longtime resident of Burbank and a board member of the
Kiwanis Club of Burbank.
He is survived by his wife, Bella; sons, Allan and Byron;
daughter, Pinky; and three grandchildren.
The funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier
Catholic Church, 3801 Scott Road.
Caxton Millard Pratt
Caxton Millard Pratt, 90, died Dec. 10, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born on Feb. 25, 1913, in Sangerville, Maine.
He was a resident of Burbank for 63 years and worked at Lockheed
Aircraft for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Margery; daughter, Cynthia Musick;
son, William Pratt; eight grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was Tuesday at Burbank Gardens followed by a
graveside service at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
John Sigmond Slack
John Sigmond Slack, 95, died Dec. 15, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born on May 5, 1908, in Poland and lived in Burbank for 35
years.
He worked at Lockheed Aircraft as a mechanic for 35 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Slack.
Services were Friday at Grand View Memorial Park in Glendale.
