AREA 1
3200 block of Valley Heart Drive
A residential burglary occurred between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on June 22. Residents reported a Nikon camera and lenses and an Apple computer as stolen. The home was reportedly entered by smashing the front window.
AREA 2
1028 S. San Fernando Blvd.
The Walgreens store was robbed at gunpoint at about 9:10 p.m. on July 19. When asked to surrender the store’s cash, the clerk ran to the back of the store. The suspect fled to a waiting vehicle outside without any money.
The suspect was described as a male, Latino or white, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds and as wearing a red/white plaid shirt, black pants, white shoes and a black hat.
North First Street and Orange Grove Avenue
At about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, three suspects entered a 61-year-old Glendale man’s car while waiting at the intersection. The man was allegedly held at knife point and forced to drive to a secluded location where he was searched, and beaten until knocked unconscious. He awoke in his car.
All three suspects were described as black. One was 20- to 30-years-old, 6 feet tall with a large build and bald head.
East Palm Avenue and North First Street
Justin Zepeda, 21, and Oswaldo Aguayo, 22, both of Burbank, were apprehended after allegedly breaking into a parked vehicle. Both were taken into custody and booked on suspicion of burglary.
