The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department

Area 1

1000 block of Victory Place

At 1:35 p.m. on Nov. 3, Terrence Taylor, 24, of Inglewood, was arrested after allegedly stealing wooden pallets and attempting to run over the man who tried to stop him. Taylor was seen by a worker while allegedly taking wooden pallets from a business. When fleeing the scene, Taylor allegedly drove toward the man, who was forced to jump out of the way to avoid being hit. Police located Taylor inside his vehicle soon after.

10900 block of Sherman Way

At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 3, a Latino man entered a Metro PCS store with a gun and demanded all the cash from the register. The clerk handed over the money and the man left the store. He was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, in his 30s and 175 pounds. He was wearing a backward black hat, a black buttoned-up shirt, black shorts and white shoes. He spoke Spanish and English.

Area 2

600 block of San Fernando Boulevard

At 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 3, an 18-year-old male was punched in the face by a reported gang member. The gang member and another man went through the victim’s pockets and took a pack of cigarettes before fleeing the scene. The men were described as 19 to 20 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall. One is Latino with a bald head and brown eyes, the other had black hair and brown eyes.

2300 block of North Brighton Street

A residential burglary occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Nov. 3. A Sony television, cash and jewelry were taken. No suspects were seen, but the home was entered through a possibly unlocked front door.
