City kicks off centennial celebrations

Burbank’s centennial celebration kicks off Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. under the Olive Avenue overpass near the Metrolink Station.

All Burbank residents and their families are invited to help sendoff the city’s entry in Pasadena’s 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade.

Burbank Tournament of Roses Assn.’s entry honors Burbank’s 100th year as a city with this year’s theme, “Centennial Celebration: Building Dreams, Friendships and Memories.”
