Police Report - Feb. 1, 2010

The following were taken from reports filed with the Burbank Police Department.

Area 1

1300 block of West Magnolia Boulevard

Between 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 28 and 12 p.m. on Jan. 29, a catalytic converter was stolen from a 1999 Toyota. No suspects were seen and the theft occurred in an apartment driveway.

Area 2

600 block of University Avenue

Between 4 p.m. on Jan. 28 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 29, a residential burglary occurred. The burglar smashed the rear sliding glass door of the home and took a laptop computer, television and digital camera.

500 block of North Third Street

Between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Jan. 29, a burglar stole a catalytic converter from a 2007 Toyota Sequoia.

Between 11:45 a.m. and 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 29, a burglar stole a catalytic converter from a 1996 Toyota Highlander.

200 block of South First Street

Between 7 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. on Jan. 29, a 2007 Cadillac Escalade was broken into while parked in the Black Angus parking lot. One section of third-row seats was taken along with cash, an iPod and Nintendo games.

800 block of East Verdugo Avenue

Between 5 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 31, a residential burglary occurred. An unseen suspect entered the home through the unlocked rear sliding-glass door of the home and took two laptop computers, a television, jewelry and a video game console.
