Burbank police arrested Saul Ramirez, 27, of North Hollywood, on June 3 after witnesses claimed he shattered the window of a parked vehicle and removed property from inside. Ramirez allegedly fled on a bicycle and was arrested by officers after being in possession of items from other burglarized vehicles.

Ramirez is being held on no bail and is under investigation from U.S. immigration officials.

700 block of East Providencia Avenue

Overnight on June 2, people broke into the auditorium of Miller Elementary School and sprayed fire extinguisher contents throughout the stage and seating area. There were no signs of forced entry. Stage lights were also broken, and paint was thrown throughout the room.

2300 block of North Lamer Street

About $21,000 in jewelry, a $400 camera and $1,250 in cash were stolen from a home during a burglary June 6.

Out of Area

On June 9, Burbank police officers arrested 37-year-old Ericka Valladares of Los Angeles for allegedly committing residential burglaries in the Burbank area. Valladares pleaded not guilty in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday to seven felony counts of receiving stolen property, identity theft and committing an additional felony while released from custody on bond.

She is due back in court June 21 and is being held in lieu of $345,000 bail.

Burbank police are working with Los Angeles County, Claremont and Banning officials to determine involvement in residential burglaries within their jurisdictions.
