Alleged burglary suspects at large after two-hour police search

An unknown number of suspects remain at large in a residential burglary that happened Friday morning, police said.

At around 11:30 a.m. a woman returned home to her residence in the 1000 block of Maple Street and found a man in her home, said Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

She then fled to a neighbor’s house and called police, who closed off streets in the area for over two hours and brought in a K-9 unit to search for suspects.

The search, however, did not turn up any suspects, said Ryburn.

Police do not know how many suspects were involved in the alleged burglary. The woman reported a loss of cash.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3000.
