Woman robs bank in Burbank, flees on foot

Police are seeking leads on a bank robbery that occurred in Burbank Friday morning.

At around 9:15 a.m., a roughly 46-year-old woman approached a bank teller at AFTRA-SAG Credit Union in the 3800 block of Riverside Drive saying she had a gun, and demanded money, said Burbank Police Officer Joshua Kendrick.

The woman was described by police as black, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and with a medium build.

She fled westbound on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured, Kendrick said, and the investigation is ongoing.
