The 35-year-old missing Burbank man with Down syndrome was found in “good” condition after taking a bus to Alhambra, police said.

Mark Aguilar had last been seen at 10 a.m. walking near the intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Olive Avenue in Burbank, two miles from his home.

A concerned passerby had seen Aguilar walking in the morning and called his mother, but when family members responded to the area, they were unable to locate him, said police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.

Hours later, a Metro bus driver in Alhambra called authorities concerned about the passenger.

As of 2:40 p.m., Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were returning Aguilar to Burbank, said Ryburn.
