Thieves make off with paintings, other items valued at $30,000
Roughly $30,000 worth of paintings, jewelry and electronics were reportedly stolen from a Burbank home Monday afternoon, police said.
Burglars broke in through the rear window and ransacked the home in the 900 block of Parish Place between 1:45 and 3:22 p.m., according to Burbank Police Sgt. Darin Ryburn.
The thieves reportedly made off with eight paintings, a 52-inch television and jewelry, which the residents estimated had a total value of $30,000, Ryburn said.
