Leader pet of the day: Darla

Share

Never underestimate the importance of patience and good conversation. Darla is a beautiful, shy, black-and-white cat looking forward to getting to know you. Once she does, she’s talkative.

This girl is a lover and will purr up a storm for caresses and chin rubs. Darla is 7 years old, seeking a very quiet home with no dogs or kids, and appropriately qualifies for the Senior for Senior program.

Homebodies are just fine because Darla was declawed (boo!), and is strictly an indoor-only type of gal. She does get along with other cats and will devote herself to the calm and patience of a serene human.

Could you be the lucky one? Swing by the shelter and strike up a chat with Darla, A054747. She’s a great listener.
