More cats, more dogs

I understand raising dog license fees, as they are fairly low; but no one will pay for cat registration (“City mulls fee hikes,” May 28).

It is time to raise the pet limits, which is now only three pets per house, to five or six. Then you would raise more money from unclaimed pets and new ones, and also help with the pet displacement problems resulting from the recession.

It’s time to start understanding your people, City Council members.
