The mayor wins over bully hands down

Kudos to Mayor Jess Talamantes for standing up to the bully who speaks to the City Council every week.

For years I’ve thought he needs anger management classes and a big lesson on good manners. I’m proud that the mayor interrupted him when he rudely referred to the city attorney as “that woman.”

Obviously, our mayor doesn’t get intimidated easily and stands up for doing the right thing. I wish that was true of all politicians.
