Scan-a-Thon at Great Park

Orange County Great Park artist-in-residence Deborah Aschheim invites people to bring personal and family photos from the 1960s and ‘70s so she can scan them for a project she’s working on. The Scan-a-Thon is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the park’s Artists Studios building. Contributed images will remain anonymous and uncredited. For more information, go to https://www.ocgp.org.

CdM Christmas Walk

The 33rd annual Corona del Mar Christmas Walk, presented by the CdM Chamber of Commerce, is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Meanwhile, the Corona del Mar branch of the Newport Beach Public Library, 420 Marigold Ave., hosts a magic show and other activities during an open house that will run during the same hours as the Christmas Walk. Both events will be free and open to the public.

Girls Sport Fashion Show

Charity fashion show Femme Athletic celebrates female sports with Costa Mesa students on the runway to raise funds for Costa Mesa United. The event is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the third floor of South Coast Plaza. The day includes live music, raffle prizes, food and surprises. John Alexander Singers

Pacific Chorale’s 24-voice chamber choir, the John Alexander Singers, presents its third annual “Christmas with the John Alexander Singers” concert. Marine Gift Drive

The Orange County Great Park and city of Irvine are holding a holiday gift drive for the families of Irvine’s adopted Marine unit. Unwrapped gifts will be collected for the Marines at the Great Park Visitors Center and at its Sunday Farmers Market.
