Global warming skeptic to speak at Republican luncheon

Christopher C. Horner, a best-selling author and global warming skeptic, will be skipping his usual rounds on the “PBS NewsHour” or “Glenn Beck” to attend the Newport Harbor Republican Women’s luncheon on Sept. 23.

The high-profile speaker will attend the event at the Pacific Club in Newport Beach. The public is invited to attend.

Horner has written numerous books, such as “The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism” and “Environmentalism and Power Grab: How Obama’s Policies Will Steal Your Freedom and Bankrupt America.” He is a regular commentator in the media on issues regarding energy, laws, treaties and policy.
