Library to offer SAT, ACT practice tests

The Newport Beach Public Library is offering high school students free college entrance practice tests.

The Central Library, 1000 Avocado Ave., has partnered with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions to offer residents the chance to practice the SAT and ACT tests.

The SAT practice test workshop is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Central Library Friends Room. Students will receive their test results and analysis at 7 p.m. Feb. 22.

The ACT practice test workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 12 in the Central Library Friends Room. Students will receive their results and analysis at 7 p.m. March 22.

The practice tests are free, but space is limited and students must register at https://www.newportbeachlibrary.org. For further questions, call teen services at (949) 717-3808.
