Frank Sinatra Jr. to perform at Newport Beach Jazz Party

The talented son of the Chairman of the Board headlines the Newport Beach Jazz Party — dubbed “From Ellington to Sinatra” — this President’s Day weekend.

Frank Sinatra Jr. and a 20-piece band are scheduled to perform 10:05 p.m. Sunday as one of the closing acts of the 11th annual jazz party, which runs Thursday through Sunday at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, 900 Newport Center Drive.

The festival highlights various forms of jazz, from big bands to small acoustic sessions, and includes two champagne brunches and a tribute performance to Duke Ellington with famed jazz musician John Pizzarelli.

Performances will take place in the Marriott’s Grand Pacific Ballroom, Cardiff Room, Sam & Harry’s steakhouse and pool. Shows in the ballroom are reserved seating.
