Memorial service scheduled for Garlich

A memorial service for Bruce Garlich, who was president of the Costa Mesa Senior Corp. board of directors, has been scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Pacific View Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar.

Garlich, who spent six years on the city Planning Commission, was an active participant and leader in the Boys & Girls Club, Lions Club, Costa Mesa United and many other organizations.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Garlich’s name to the Harbor Area Boys & Girls Club, P.O. Box 10297, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. Its website is https://harborareabgc.com.

A reception will be held following the service at the Costa Mesa Senior Center, 695 W. 19th Street, Costa Mesa, beginning at 4 p.m.
