Monday’s City Council meeting canceled
The Monday meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council has been canceled due to a lack of pressing agenda items.
The council earlier this month voted unanimously to cancel the July 18 meeting and move all non-time-sensitive consent agenda items to the Aug. 1 meeting.
During its last strategic planning meeting, the council addressed moving the regular meeting to once a month when suitable to reduce cost, according to a city staff report.
The council, however, is scheduled to meet for a second time this month July 29 for a strategic planning workshop.
The workshop is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the Huntington Beach Central Library, rooms C and D, 7111 Talbert Ave.
