COSTA MESA — Junior Celia Duran had 18 points and 10 assists and junior Bryanna Vernon had 19 points, including six three-pointers to lead the host Eagles in the Orange Coast League game Thursday.

Estancia (11-6, 2-0 in league) visits Godinez on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Senior Molly Settles and junior Danielle Obong each had 13 points to lead the host Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Thursday.

Sophomore Aubriona Mathis added 10 points for the winners (10-7, 1-1 in league).

The Mustangs play host to Saddleback on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to continue league play.

Huntington Beach 48, Newport Harbor 27

NEWPORT BEACH — Freshman Jasmyn Winters had nine points to lead the host Sailors in the Sunset League game Thursday.

Junior Elizabeth Kremer added five points for the Tars (4-14, 0-3 in league), who played their best game in league play, according to Coach Justin Long.

Newport Harbor plays host to Marina on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — Bailey Super had five points to lead the host Lightning in the Academy League game Thursday.

Clair Goul had four points for Sage Hill (4-6, 1-1 in league).

The Lightning play host to St. Margaret’s on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Sage Hill 66, Whitney 52

NEWPORT COAST — Junior guard Jack Williamson and sophomore forward Tyler Hague scored 14 points each for the Lightning in the Academy League game Thursday.

Sophomore C.J. McCord added 13 points and senior guard Darren Chen scored 10 points for Sage Hill (9-8, 2-0 in league), which plays host to St. Margaret’s Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

NEWPORT COAST — Juliette Singarella recorded two assists for the Lightning in the Academy League match Thursday.

Janis Jin recorded two assists, while Allie Mowrey and Tiffany Taylor scored one goal each for Sage Hill (9-3-2, 1-1-0 in league). Lightning goalie Kekai Whitford made one save.

Sage Hill plays host to St. Margaret’s Saturday at 5 p.m.

Newport Harbor 1, Huntington Beach 1

NEWPORT BEACH — Sailors sophomore Toni Holland scored in the second half of the Sunset League match Thursday at Newport Harbor High.

Senior Jenna Castillo assisted Holland’s goal for Newport Harbor (3-10-3, 1-1-1 in league), which gave up the equalizer on a header with about eight minutes left in regulation.

The Sailors play host to Marina at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Estancia 0, Laguna Beach 0

COSTA MESA — Sophomore goalie Caitlin Leahy stopped a penalty-kick with 10 minutes left to help the Eagles hold the Breakers scoreless in the Pacific Coast League match Thursday at Jim Scott Stadium.

Leahy finished with two saves. Sophomore Alba Barrios earned a couple scoring opportunities, but Estancia (5-2-7, 1-0-1 in league), but couldn’t put it away, Coach Jennifer Perry said.

The Eagles play against Godinez (2-0-0 in league) Tuesday at Centennial Park in Santa Ana.
