Seven from Newport Harbor sign on to colleges

Seven Newport Harbor High student-athletes were honored during a signing ceremony Wednesday at the school for the late signing period for colleges.

The athletes who signed were:

Torey Thompson (women’s volleyball) – Chico State

Jenna Castillo (women’s soccer) – University of Montana

Garrett Farthing (men’s lacrosse) – Tusculum College

Hattie Marshall (softball) – Concordia University

Garrett Prather (baseball) – Northwestern Oklahoma State University

Taylor Parks (baseball) – Chapman University

Daniel Albert (baseball) – John Hopkins
