Share

Alexandra Perkins turned in a record-setting career at Santa Ana College and now the Edison High grad has singed a National Letter of Intent to continue her academic and softball career at Tennessee.

A two-year starter for the Dons, Perkins established program career records for stolen bases (63) and runs scored (89). She also broke the school’s single-season record for stolen bases with 42 and in the process, set a new program mark for consecutive stolen bases (42) without being thrown out.

Tennessee was the runner-up to the 2013 NCAA softball national championship. The Volunteers lost to Oklahoma at the Women’s College World Series finals in June.
