IRVINE — Senior Matt Sherburne had five goals and Ashton Jajonie added three to pace the visiting Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League contest Thursday.
Charlie Rodosky had two goals, while five Sea Kings scored one goal apiece.
Ryan Hamm had 10 saves and Nigel Bress added three for the winners (6-5, 3-0 in league).

Dominique Kemp produced eight aces and Abby Griffith added 11 kills for the host Eagles in the Orange Coast League match Thursday.

Carolyn Bockrath had 20 kills, three aces and three blocks, Ellie Hagadorn had 39 assists and Sammie Yeager added 20 digs to lead the host Sailors to a 25-20, 25-21, 25-18 Sunset League victory Thursday.
Gabby Shelley had 12 kills and Logan Grove chipped in 10 digs and two aces for the winners (5-14, 2-1), who meet Los Alamitos on Monday at 5:45 p.m.

Estancia 12, Costa Mesa 6
Kinley Ohland and Slade Garnett swept at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, for the visiting Eagles in the Orange Coast League clash between cross-town rivals Thursday.
Estancia’s No. 2 doubles team of Andrea Ponce and Mikaela Soriano won two of three sets for the Eagles (7-6, 4-2).

Newport Harbor 14, Fountain Valley 4
No. 3 singles player Jen Kingsley and the No. 2 doubles tandem of Reagan Rutter and Annie LaGranduer both won 18 of 19 games to help lead the host Sailors in the Sunset League match on Thursday.
Kate Knight also swept at No. 1 singles for the Sailors (10-7, 4-1 in league).
The Tars play host to Los Alamitos on Tuesday at 3 p.m.

Grace Ferrell earned medalist honors for the ninth time this season to help the visiting Sailors to the Sunset League victory Thursday at Mile Square Golf Course.
Ferrell shot one-under-par 35 to help Newport Harbor improve to 6-8, 2-6 in league.

Alyaa Abdulghany earned medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match on Thursday at Newport Beach Country Club.
Abdulghany shot one-under-par 34, and teammates Karlie Moses (41), Gabby Finear (41), Kellie King (47) and Hanna Hogan (47) also scored for CdM (11-2, 7-2 in league).
CdM can forge a three-way tie for first place with Uni and Beckman by beating Beckman on Wednesday at Tustin Ranch Country Club. The match begins at 2:30 p.m.
