Joan Elaine Homick March 9, 1931 - March 15, 2013

Joan Homick passed away this past Friday surrounded by her family, having recently celebrated her 82nd birthday. She was a native Californian who was born in Glendale to Katherine and Clyde Mundy. She married the love of her life, Theodore, Ted, Homick Jr. and spent the last 50 years raising her family in La Cañada Flintridge.

She enjoyed taking road trips and traveling the road less traveled. Joan also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cross stitching, and tending to her garden where she would also love to watch the sunset.

Joan is survived by her brother James “Jim” Mundy, her three children: Cheryl Amit, Robert “Bob” Homick, and Karen Homick, and 6 grandchildren: Jeremie Amit, Justin Amit, Jessica Amit, Jaimie Amit, Max Homick and Alex Homick.
