Jeff Van Hoose May 24, 1918 - March 13, 2013

Jefferson Mitchel Van Hoose was born May 24, 1918, in Offutt, Kentucky, to Bert and Nancy (Ward) Van Hoose and passed away in Seattle, WA, March 13, 2013, at age 94. He and his wife, Jacqueline, resided in Glendale, CA, for thirty-five years before moving to Sun City, AZ. In 2007 they moved to Seattle, WA, to be closer to family. Jeff was predeceased by his parents and brothers Ocial and Warren.

Our dad was a sensitive, kind and caring man. His sense of humor was evident even at the end of his life and his glass was always half full. He will be profoundly missed.

Jeff is survived by his wife of over 71 years, his 2 children, Karen, of Seattle, WA, and Dick (Sue) of Eureka, CA, seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Troy, Jeramy, Tara, Carlye, Sarah and Jennie as well as four great-grandchildren, Forrest, Morgan, Luke and JayDee.
