Melody Lea Nicoll July 2, 1934 - August 28, 2013

Melody Lea Nicoll passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. She was born July 2, 1934 in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin to Isabel Lincks and Howard Baker. As a strong, adventurous young woman of 18, she moved to Glendale, California to begin her new life and was later followed by her mother and two younger sisters. She adored her family, loved to entertain, and had an infectious zest for life. Holidays were special to her, she enthusiastically welcomed any opportunity to decorate and amassed a collection of treasured antiques and rarities.

She possessed a wicked sense of humor, took pride in her charitable efforts and brought joy to a great many lives. She is survived by her sister Mary Walter, two sons Gregory and Geoffrey, and three grandchildren.

Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday Sept 7, 2013 at First United Methodist Church of Glendale.
