Jean T. Bachmeier October 6, 1921 - September 21, 2013

Jean T. Dussault Bachmeier entered into eternal rest at the age of 91 in Pasadena, California.

Born in Cohoes, New York, Jean was a graduate of Cohoes High School and attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She married Eugene J. Bachmeier at St. Augustine Church on June 12, 1953 and honeymooned in Havana Cuba. Jean and Eugene remained married 57 years before Eugene preceded Jean in death. Jean was a nurturing and loving mother, devoted wife and faithful member of the Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America for over 25 years, involved in various spiritual and charitable activities as an active member of the CDA. Jean was extremely committed to her faith and served as an Extraordinary Minister Of Holy Communion at her parish in La Canada, CA. She also enjoyed dancing with the Kaddlehoppers and was active in the Girl Scouts of the USA.

Jean is survived by her siblings Betty Gaynor, Claire Malpase, and Barney Dussault; her children Carol Ann and Susan; two grandchildren Jennifer and John and two great-grandchildren Charles and Henry.

Donations in her memory may be made to St. Bede the Venerable Church at 215 Foothill Blvd. La Canada-Flintridge, CA 91011.

Vigil Service will be held 7:00pm Thursday at Cabot and Sons Chapel, 27 Chestnut St., Pasadena, CA 91103, and the Funeral Mass will celebrated Friday, 10:00am, at St. Bede’s Catholic Church, 215 Foothill Bl., La Canada, CA 91011.
