Community: Residents perform ‘Messiah’ at Disney Hall

Singers from the Glendale area will perform Handel’s “Messiah” as part the Los Angeles Master Chorale at 7 p.m. the next two Sundays at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, 111 S. Grand Ave., in downtown Los Angeles.

Glendale residents performing are Suzanne Anderson (soprano), Christina Bristow (soprano) Bradley Chapman (tenor), Greg Davies (tenor) and Sal Malaki (tenor). La Crescenta resident Jody Golightly (tenor) also will sing.

Music Director Grant Gershon conducts 48 members of the acclaimed chorus, chamber orchestra and four soloists from among the chorale’s ranks — Anna Schubert, soprano; Callista Hoffman-Campbell, mezzo soprano; John Russell, tenor; and Abdiel Gonzalez, baritone.
