Community: Theater-goers can enjoy New Year’s party

Glendale Centre Theatre is again the New Year’s-party destination for those who love live theater.

The comedy, “Over the River and Through the Woods,” will be presented at 6:30 and 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Set in 1998, “Over the River” is about two sets of grandparents who devise a plan to keep their single grandson in town by introducing him to an available lady.

The 9 p.m. show includes a post-performance party with a dessert bar and taped big band music for dancing. There’s a Martinelli’s toast at midnight.
