Carmen Alicia Moscoso 1940 - 2014

It is with a heavy heart and a great sadness that the family of Carmen Alicia Moscoso (Maron) announces she passed away unexpectedly on February 8, 2014 in Glendale, CA. Carmen Alicia was a longtime resident of Glendale, having lived there since arriving in the United States from Lima, Peru in 1978. Upon her arrival in Glendale she worked at Glendale Memorial Hospital where her love of cooking and people led to a successful career in the hospitals food service & catering
department. She took on a similar role at USC University Hospital before moving on to become a CareGiver. Her caring nature and joyful disposition made her a natural for this newfound career, something she enjoyed doing until her retirement in 2012.

Carmen Alicia was preceded in death by her parents Felix and America Maron. She is survived by her two daughters Doris and Sharon Moscoso, her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and a great many friends who love her and will miss her dearly. Her laughter brightened a room and brought happiness to all those who knew her. Services will be held February 28 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, CA.
