The “Equipped for the Future” educational fair event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb.1, at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, 1812 Verdugo Blvd., Glendale.

The event, created by the nonprofit Asian Industry B2B, is for high school and middle school students as well as students entering a skilled trade.

An aerial photography exhibit is on display at the Forest Lawn Museum

An exhibit called “The Elevated Eye: Aerial Photography Past and Present” will be on display through March 8 at the Forest Lawn Museum, 1712 S. Glendale Ave., Glendale.

The exhibit features aerial photography works from the 19th century into the 21st century. Both photos and videos are featured in the exhibit.

Concert to feature oboist and pianist

The Glendale Noon Concerts will present a musical performance from 12:10 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the sanctuary at Glendale City Church, 610 E. California Ave., Glendale.

The concert will feature oboist Catherine Del Russo and pianist Mark Robson performing works by Filippo Prover, Paul Hindemith and Jeremy Gilien.

Trio set to perform at art center

The Brand Library & Art Center, 1601 W. Mountain St., Glendale. will present a musical performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

The performance will feature bassist Jory Herman, violinist Michelle Tseng and vocalist Cloie Wyatt Taylor.

Park to hold children’s storytime event

An event called “Storytime at Maple Park” will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, on the second floor of the gymnasium at the Maple Park Community Center, 820 E. Maple Ave., Glendale.

This event will also be held on March 11, April 8 and May 13 at the same time.
