Pension administrator receives top award

Michael Bain received the 2011 Educator’s Award from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 25.

Bain is president of CMC Pension Professionals, a pension administration and actuarial firm based in Glendale. The company provides local firms with pension, retirement and benefit plans.

Bain has helped develop the curriculum on becoming a Qualified Plan Financial Consultant and Qualified 401k Administrator.

The American Society of Pension Professionals is a front runner in supporting private pension and retirement funds in the nation.
