RUBY JEAN COLINO HUBBARD

Ruby Jean Colino Hubbard, 75, a native of Glendale, died Feb. 17,

2002, at her home.

She was born Aug. 4, 1926 in Glendale. She graduated from Hoover High

School. She was a homemaker for 55 years, and was very talented in

crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Ben; daughters, Michelle

Calabro-Hubbard, and Taryn and son-in-law Bill Fell; and grandsons, Ryan

and Brent Fell.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today in the Peace Chapel of

Kiefer & Eyerick.

Burial will be private at Grand View Memorial Park.

Kiefer & Eyerick is in charge of arrangements.

MILLIE HARRIET BISHOP

Millie Harriet Bishop, 88, a former Glendale resident, died Jan. 25,

2002, in Orange, where she had lived for the past 12 years.

Prior to retiring, she worked as a bookkeeper at Toll Junior High

School.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Lyons-Ficklin; and son, James

Barnes Bishop.

Funeral services were held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.

JAMES GODFREY

James Godfrey, 36, died Feb. 15, 2002, at his Glendale home.

Mr. Godfrey was born in Brisbane, Australia, and came to the United

States as a child.

After graduating from Glendale High School in 1983, he served in the

U.S. Army. After the Army, he continued to serve his community by

mentoring young adults in the Explorers, Glendale Post 2127. He was an

active member in the American Legion Post 127.

He is survived by his parents, Margaret and William Godfrey and Ralph

Stewart; brothers and sisters, Robert, Amanda, Megan and Billy; fiancee,

Ruth and her daughter, Meagan; nephews, Kyle and Garret; niece, Cierra;

aunts, Glenda, Jessie, Kathleen, Erin; uncles, Bernard, Graham, Liam; and

cousins, Bradley, Hayley, Paul, Jessica and Steven.

A viewing will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Woods Scovern Mortuary.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family

Church.

Burial will follow at 2:45 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.

There will be a celebration of his life at 6 p.m. Friday at the

American Legion, Glendale Post 127.
