‘America’ bear benefits Red Cross

LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- A new Ty Beanie Baby bear, “America,” is being

introduced to help local Red Cross chapters raise money.

Until March 15, all profits from the sales of “America” will benefit

to local Red Cross chapters where the buyers live. The chapter with the

largest amount of sales will receive a special $5,000 donation to go

toward local disaster relief.

The “America” Beanie Baby is available exclusively online. It can be

purchased by visiting www.sgvarc.org, or www.ty.com. The first “America”

bear generated more than $1.1 million for the Red Cross Disaster Relief

Fund.
