‘Music in the Park’ features jazz band

LA CANADA FLINTRIDGE -- The Coyote Hills Jazz Band will perform at 6

p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park, 1201 Foothill Blvd., La Canada

Flintridge.

The concert is a part of La Canada Flintridge’s “Music in the Park”

concert series.

The seven-piece band is made up of versatile musicians who play

traditional Dixieland jazz, blues and more from the early 1900s.

Together, the musicians have more than 200 years performing experience.

The band has a repertoire of more than 500 songs, many of them from

artists like Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong and Irving Berlin.

The Coyote Hills Jazz Band plays frequently throughout Southern

California.
