Safari Squad bringing reptiles to gardens

Snakes and other reptiles will visit Descanso Gardens on July 17

as part of an educational program for children.

The Safari Squad, complete with a herpetoculturist -- a person who

studies amphibians and reptiles -- will be in the Oaks Theater at 6

p.m.

Participants can look, touch or even hold some of the reptiles as

part of the presentation.

The cost is $9 for nonmember adults and children. Member adults

and children pay $7 for admission.

Registration is required by Saturday.

Descanso Gardens is at 1418 Descanso Drive.
