Basketball camp slated for summer by Smiley

A week at the end of July has been scheduled for Crescenta Valley High’s boys’ basketball coach Jim Smiley’s ninth youth basketball camp.

The camp will be held from July 19 to July 23 at the new Falcon gym at the high school from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

the camp is open to youngsters ages 7 to 16. The cost of $200 entitled each person to a free daily lunch, T-shirt, trophy and evaluation of skills.

Smiley will be assisted by several members of last season’s team which won the Pacific League title.
