GLENDALE -- Temple Sinai of Glendale presents a morning “Tot
Shabbat,” a religious service aimed at children in preschool and the
early elementary grades, every second Saturday of each month.
The format will include an abbreviated service, Torah reading,
stories and songs.

the Rev. Bonnie Roswell’s talk during the 10 a.m. Sunday services at

GLENDALE -- “Time ... God’s Time or Ours?” is the topic of the
Rev. Jackie Johns’ talk during the 10 a.m. Sunday services at the
Religious Science Church of Glendale.
The congregation meets at the Glendale Masonic Temple, 244 N.
Maryland St. Meditation will begin at 9:30 a.m.
“Science of Mind Class: This Thing Called You,” led by Rev.
Meredith Gray, will meet every Monday for eight weeks. Admission is
free and open to the public.

GLENDALE -- “A Further Response: Understanding the Passion,” is
the topic of Goran Dragolivic’s talk from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at
Glendale Presbyterian Church.
This is the second part of “Understanding the Passion
Controversy.”

‘SonGames 2004’ is the theme of Bible School
CRESCENTA -- La Crescenta Presbyterian Church presents “SonGames
2004: Vacation Bible School” from 9 a.m. to noon Monday though
Friday. Children ranging in age from 4 to those in the sixth grade
are invited to participate.
Crescenta Valley High School Coach Jim Smiley will lead a
basketball workout. Rebecca Tezian, a member of the Junior National
Gymnastic Team, will demonstrate ribbon dancing. Crescenta Valley
High School’s Gymnastics Club will also offer a demonstration.
Cost is $15, which includes T-shirt decal, cassette tape of music,
snacks and learning materials.
