Senator lauded by consumers, seniors
The office of state Sen. Jack Scott, whose district includes Glendale and Burbank, announced Wednesday that Scott received high approval ratings from the California Alliance for Retired Americans and the Consumer Federation of California.
The California Alliance for Retired Americans, a senior advocacy and activism umbrella organization, and the Congress of California Seniors, both gave Scott a 100% rating for his legislative work on issues important to older Californians, Scott’s office said.
The Consumer Federation of California gave Scott the same full-approval rating for his legislative work related to customer rights, healthcare reform and consumer product safety, Scott’s office said.
